Apple adds touch screens to Mac computers

According to media reports, the American giant Apple may add touch screens to its computers.

Bloomberg News quoted people familiar with the matter as saying that Apple is actively adding touch screens to its Mac computers.

The report stated that the first Mac with a touch screen could be launched by 2025 as part of an update to the "MacBook Pro" device produced by the American technology giant.

Apple has not yet responded to a Reuters request for comment.

Japan's Nikkei Asia magazine reported last December that Apple plans to move part of its MacBook production to Vietnam for the first time this year. It comes as the US tech conglomerate continues to diversify its production base away from China amid rising technology tensions between Washington and Beijing.

Apple shares fell sharply last week after their huge losses in 2022, which plunged its market value below $ 2 trillion for the first time since June 2021.

This significant drop in Apple's market value came a year after it became the first company to reach a market capitalization of $3 trillion.
